Conservancy and Eight Conservancy Member Projects selected for Google Summer of Code 2014
March 3, 2014
Software Freedom Conservancy is pleased to announce that Conservancy, along with eight of our member projects, have been selected to participate in Google Summer of Code 2014, Google's global program that offers student developers stipends to write code for various open source software projects. Mentor developers from Boost, Buildbot, Git, Inkscape, phpMyAdmin, Samba, Sugar Labs, Wine, and Conservancy's own NPO Accounting Project will work with participating student summer interns tasked with writing free and open source software for their respective projects.
Students interested in working with Conservancy or one of our member projects can select from a list of suggested student assignments — or propose an original assignment — and submit an application.
