Join Conservancy at OSCON in Austin Next Week

Software Freedom Conservancy will once again be present at OSCON this year in Austin, Texas. Conservancy's Executive Director, Karen Sandler, and its President and Distinguished Technologist, Bradley Kuhn will both be speaking at the event. Conservancy will have a booth on the expo floor. Additionally, Conservancy will be hosting an exclusive Supporter-only wrap up pool party on Thursday night.

Bradley will be participating in a panel entitled “Aligning patents and open source” on Wednesday, May 18 at 5 p.m. Karen will be delivering a talk entitled “Before you sign: Employment agreements and free software” on Thursday, May 19 at 11 a.m. Karen will also have "office hours" Wednesday afternoon from 3:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Thursday's party will be held a short walk from the OSCON venue, and all Supporters are invited to attend. However, Please RSVP by Tuesday, May 17 at noon by emailing <rsvp-oscon@sfconservancy.org>. Details will be emailed out right before the event (but don't forget to pack a swim suit if you like to swim).

Note that you must be an active Conservancy Supporter to attend this event. If you aren't a Supporter yet, you can sign up for just $120/year or $10/month.
